Luminodio World FAQ
How to find producers, what an account gives you, what producers can publish, and what World does not handle.
Getting started
What World is, who it is for, and what an account gives you.
Luminodio World is for listeners and artists looking for producers, including producers from a specific country or city, and for producers who want to be found where they work. A free account gives a producer a profile, uploads and a Bio Link page.
Yes. Every producer starts on Seeker, the free plan: a producer profile, unlimited uploads, a place on the globe and in search, and a Bio Link page. Nomad ($5 a month) and Alien ($14 a month) add more listening analytics and profile options, with a lower price when paid yearly. Prices include VAT where applicable.
See the plansA free Luminodio account is what lets you create a producer profile, upload beats, claim your Bio Link address and choose a plan.
Yes. The globe, search, filters, producer cards, and public information pages adapt to mobile screens. The globe requires a browser and device with WebGL support.
Exploring World
How geography, search and genres shape discovery.
Start with the globe or a search. Open a country to see the cities that have producers, open a city to see its producers and beats, then play a preview or open a producer's profile. Spin the World picks a random producer when you have no destination in mind.
Yes. Search for the city or open it on the globe. The city shows the producers pinned there and their beats, and a genre filter narrows the list.
Search can return countries, cities, producers, and beats. A place result opens that country or city on the globe.
World has 14 broad discovery filters: Hip-Hop, Electronic, R&B, Pop, Rock, Afrobeats, Latin, Jazz, Reggae, Country, Classical, World, Blues, and Experimental. Producer profiles and beats can use more specific subgenres within those groups.
While a beat plays, the country outlines on the globe light up in the colours of the flag of the producer's country, and every kick sends a discharge along the borders out of that country. On the first beat of each bar the next flag colour spreads across the planet from the strike. It is a way to see the beat, it changes nothing about what you hear, and it stops when the beat does.
Listening and links
What playback, sharing, contact, and marketplace links do in World.
Producer uploads are published as highlights of up to 30 seconds. Playback stays inside World while you browse the producer's public catalog.
World does not currently provide direct messaging. A producer can publish social, website, and marketplace links on their profile so listeners and artists can continue on those services.
No. World does not process beat sales or issue licenses. When a producer adds a BeatStars, Airbit, Traktrain, or YouTube link, World sends the visitor to that external service and any transaction happens there.
Producer profiles and submissions
How a producer creates a presence and adds music to public discovery.
Sign in, then complete the World profile setup. The form asks for a display name, country, a verified city selection, and a primary genre. Acceptance of the Terms and Privacy Policy is either given when the account is created (a checkbox for email sign-up, a notice on the Google button) or, failing that, asked once in this form. Bio, avatar, subgenres, and external links are optional.
A producer needs a visible profile tied to a mapped city and at least one visible beat. Public country and city totals are built from content that meets those discovery conditions.
A signed-in producer with a World profile can add beat metadata, choose a genre, add optional BPM, key, collaborators, type-beat tags, and external purchase links, then select an audio highlight for submission.
The upload control accepts MP3, WAV, OGG, FLAC, and AAC source files that the browser can decode. Producers then select up to 30 seconds, and World creates an MP3 highlight for the public preview.
No. A beat goes live on the globe as soon as it finishes uploading. Every producer confirms at upload that they hold the rights to what they submit. If a beat breaks the rules, we hide it, and the producer gets a notification.
Bio Link is a one-screen page for the link-in-bio spot on Instagram or TikTok. It shows your name, your links and one beat, at luminodio.world/@yourusername. Every plan includes it; on Alien it's called Galactic Bio Link. Claim a username on your profile to get the address, then edit the page from there.
Change it from your profile. A username is 3–32 letters, digits, underscores or hyphens, cannot be a reserved name, and can change at most once every 30 days. The limit keeps other people's shared links to you from breaking every few days.
It keeps redirecting to your new one for as long as nobody else takes it. For the first 180 days after the change nobody else can; after that, someone else may claim it, and from then on the old address points to them instead.
Nothing you set up is erased. A downgrade only shows what your current plan allows; upgrading again brings the rest of your settings straight back.
Privacy and product
Public profile data, service data, and the relationship to Luminodio.
A public profile can show the producer's display name, artist type, city and country, genres, bio, avatar, public links, and beat catalog. Producers choose which optional profile links and bio details to add.
World processes the account, profile, uploaded audio, beat metadata, consent, security, and activity data needed to run the service. The full categories and providers are listed in the Privacy Policy.
Read the Privacy PolicyEvery beat card has a report button. Pick a reason and describe the problem, with a link where there is one (for example, to the original track). If you are a rights holder and want something taken down, write to legal@luminodio.com with a link to the beat and what it infringes. We review every report and hide or remove content that infringes or breaks the rules.
